Flameless candles have been rising in popularity over the last few years. And with good reason. Flameless candles offer many advantages over regular candles:

• Flameless candles are much safer than regular candles since they don’t have an open flame.

• Flameless candles can be used almost anywhere… places you wouldn’t put a regular candle for fear of catching something on fire.

• Flameless candles have a look and feel almost identical to real candles. They are made of real wax and provide the same glowing, flickering candlelight of real candles.

There’s another huge reason why flameless candles have become so popular.

• Many flameless candles are available with a built in timer. This built in timer will provide you with many great ways to use your candles.

So, how can you use a flameless candle with a timer?

• Set your flameless candle timer so that the candles turn on automatically and are waiting for you when you come home from work or an outing.

• Every night as you go to bed, the candles will automatically come on and set a peaceful and relaxing mood.

• To set a wonderful romantic atmosphere, set flameless candles in your fireplace so that they automatically light as the evening is going.

• If you have plans to leave home for vacation, set your flameless candles to turn on a random times during the day throughout the house. This gives your house that “lived in” look while you are away.
All of this, and more, is possible if your flameless candle has a timer.

How To Use A Flameless Candle Timer

First of all, the timer on a flameless candle is very simple to use. The switch to turn on the flameless candle is located on the bottom of the candle. The switch on the flameless candle will have 2 or 3 positions.

The switch will have an “off” position, an “on” position, and possibly a separate “timer” position. If there is no separate “timer” position, then the “on” position will turn the timer on.

The “timer” position allows the candle to stay lit for a predetermined amount of time and then the candle will turn off automatically. The amount of time that the candle will remain on varies.

To find out how long the candle will remain lit while using the timer, you need to read the description of the flameless candle. Depending on the flameless candle, the candle may remain on for 4 hours, 5 hours, 6 hours or more.

The interesting part is that if you leave the switch in the “timer” position (don’t turn it to the “off” position), the flameless candle will remember what time it came on, and will automatically turn itself on at the exact same time every day. You don’t even touch the candle a second time to get this to work after you first flip the switch to the “timer” position.

The timer is a great feature and has many uses.

What other ways could you use a flameless candle with a timer?
