Talent shows are a great opportunity for kids to showcase their skills. Talent shows held at schools are normally the most anticipated events. Physical Activity
Apart from dancing, there are various types of other physical activities. The popular ones are cheerleading, gymnastics, baton twirling, etc. The performances in physical activity are supported by background music which makes it even more fun. If it is gymnastics you have chosen, then do not forget to place a mat on stage. A child can also be encouraged for cheerleading in which case he/she has to choose a partner.
Painting
Like any other art, this talent needs to be encouraged as well. Here again you can try some positive reinforcements like saying, what a nice painting or, the choice of colors is fabulous. Avoid criticism and just appreciate the creative attempts of your child. This will really help him/her prepare for the talent show.
Sports
If you think your child is a natural with a bat or has real sporting skills, then encourage him/her for this particular talent. The best way to see your child s true character is when he/she is around his/her friends. Allow them to play in your backyard so that they can give a good performance in the actual game.
