Opting for an outdoor wedding reception opens a room for many fun and exciting activities. These thrilling ideas are sometimes hard to pull off if done in an indoor venue. One of the most popular outdoor nuptials is a winery wedding. If you opt for this, you might want to consider a blindfolded wine tasting game for your guests. This wedding theme is more great if you and your groom are wine lovers, but both of you should not be a part of such game because it has to be played by your guests and wedding attendants. If you plan to hold both your wedding ceremony and reception at the same outdoor venue, then you have to think of activities that are not too much, but just enough to keep the level of formality and sacredness of the ceremony without being too boring. For instance, you can set up a place where your guests can enjoy walking prior to the reception. Provide a few things that they can look at such as various photos of you and your groom at different stages of your lives, some of your favorite things, and anything that would create something like an exhibit at your wedding venue. The place should be a great start where your guests will know more about you as a couple and all you ve got that both of you enjoy when you are together.
For an outdoor wedding, it doesn t need too many wedding decorations to make the venue look interesting. However, some traditional wedding supplies such as matching wedding favors and other reception accessories must be there to pull off your outdoor wedding theme.
